When I decided to set up Whitfields property experts, it was important to bring back the values that I felt have been lost over the years by other estate agency firms. We have 4 key goals which are to act with honesty, integrity, expertise and with a personal touch. Moving home can be stressful, and we are here to guide your through the process as your personal property advisor.
We’re not a faceless website or a large national network. We focus on delivering a premium personal service that you can not only rely on but will be happy to recommend to your family and friends.
Our team are local to the area, very experienced and look after everything from start to finish. These are the key ingredients needed to assist you in selling your property. The driving force behind Whitfields property experts, Jaine has worked within property sales for over 35 years. Experienced in selling every type of home from a small starter home to a multi-million-pound mansion, new build to auction homes, there isn’t much she hasn’t dealt with before.
Caring passionately about helping people move home, with a more personal and bespoke service, and in an honest and proactive manner has been the reason for our growth as a company. Jaine has lived in the Corsham and Melksham areas most of her life after growing up in Bathford, so is a real expert in selling the Wiltshire lifestyle. Proud to have created an expanding business in her 50s, she is now also mentoring and helping others replicate this gold star service standard in other areas with the EXP international network.

Nicola Bennett
Sales Progression Manager
Nicola also has over 35 years’ experience. We know this because she worked at the same office in Bath as Jaine in their first estate agency jobs! The years have flown by, but Nicola has remained in Estate agency roles the whole time and specialises in post-sales progression.
A no-nonsense approach and vast experience in overcoming potential issues is critical when chasing solicitors and the rest of a chain to ensure a successful exchange of contracts. There is so much more to helping you move smoothly and Nicola is our lynch pin to making this happen.
Nicola only works for Whitfields and our clients, which is unusual within agency, and is available with her own dedicated phone line option and email. The solicitors are other agents respect her knowledge and this helps us get you moving.

Hettie Charlesworth
Senior sales negotiator
Hettie joined us after we rescued her from a big corporate agency and is now flourishing in our environment without call targets, pressure to sell mortgages and is able to now do the right thing by our clients. Her experience with the corporate agency has taught her how NOT to do estate agency! She brings a wonderful energy to the business and is always getting lovely reviews from our sellers and buyers with her excellent knowledge of their homes on viewings. Office administrator.
With a strong background in new build sales across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Somerset, it was time for a new challenge and joining the Whitfields team felt like a great fit with Jaines values setting up an honest hard working agency!
I’m passionate in delivering great Customer service for both sellers and buyers, and contributing to make the experience a smooth one and hopefully even enjoyable in what should be an exciting time.

Caitlin Backhouse
Social Media and Marketing
Caitlin joined the business as our video editor and social media guru. As anyone over a certain age knows, if you can’t work out the technology, hand it to your daughter, so that’s exactly what Jaine did!
However, Caitlin runs her own award-winning photography business and also has qualifications in social media and marketing so was the perfect fit to take the lead on this side of the business. Having bought her own property a few years ago, Caitlin has a great understanding of the day-to-day processes too and can empathise and support our first time buyers through the process. She is also proud “mum” to Rolo.

Rolo and Guinness
The office spaniels (Heads of Barketing)
Rolo brings an energetic bounce to our daily tasks in the office. His key roles are to ensure that regular cuddles are available to everyone and has a keen ear for the opening of sandwiches. A loyal companion (especially when food is around) he chills out in his bed, relaxing and brings a ball for anyone who looks like they need cheering up!
Guinness joined the office team and is an enthusiastic meet and greeter, and will bring you a toy as a welcome gift. He still thinks he is a puppy size and is a prolific cuddler. His favourite spot is our Peacock style chair or by the door watching the world go by.
